Duchal Nursery School has provided an excellent pre school education to the children of Kilmacolm and the surrounding area for over 40 years.

Established by a group of parents who had no nursery provision for their children in 1967, it continues as a parents cooperative, so it is run by the people who know what's best for their children - their parents.

Duchal Nursery School is a non profit making organisation and became a registered charity in 2006.

We provide 26 places for children aged 3-5 and always have 4 members of staff on duty, giving an excellent staff/pupil ratio. The children come together daily during term time from 8.45am to 12noon.

The Nursery School moved into our own purpose built state of the art nursery at Birkmyre Park on Monday 1 December 2008.
