We are delighted to be able to offer free funded places for all children aged 3 – 5 years, via Inverclyde Council. Additionally we are also able to accept children from other areas (eg: Renfrewshire and Glasgow)

Funded hours are from 8.30am – 2.30pm, with additional wraparound care until 6pm daily during term time.

If you wish your child to attend our extended hours up until 6.00pm these hours will be invoiced at £6 per hour (late booking fees £8/hour).  Please apply to our Nursery Administrator via email

Booking Wraparound Care

Funded places are from 8.30am – 2.30pm however we are open for early drops offs from 8.00am and until 6.00pm each day for those families that require longer hours. Wraparound care is invoiced at £6 per hour and MUST be booked in advance.

Bookings are made in half termly blocks and changes will still be charged for as staff rotas have to be confirmed in advance of this. Please complete the form below detailing pick up times each day for the weeks of the half term.

Childcare Voucher Scheme

The Nursery School is registered with Childcare Voucher Schemes as a carer and can accept childcare vouchers as a method of payment.

If your employer provides a Childcare Voucher Scheme via a recognised provider, you will possibly be able to pay for your childcare at Duchal, exempt from Tax and National Insurance contributions. For further details, please contact us.
